How can I best use the maps?

Let's say you just got our Wine Map of Italy delivered to your home. We're thrilled you chose our product! Now, how can you make the wine tasting both educational and enjoyable?

There are a couple of ways to use our map:

  • LEARNING. You’ve got a bottle in your wine rack that was gifted to you recently. Firstly, check out the label to learn where your wine comes from. You’ll be looking for three key elements: the region, the name of the wine, and the grape type. Great! It’s a nice bottle of Primitivo. “Primitivo” is actually a grape variety and it almost always comes from the Puglia region. Navigate our map to locate Puglia. The darker marked zones will indicate where the Puglia’s vineyards are.
  • EXPLORATION. You may also taste your way through Italy and plan your wine tasting journey just like you'd use a map to work out your holiday itinerary abroad. This is a great way to develop and refine your Italian wine palate! Study the map to discover new wine names and grape varieties we hand-picked. Start your tasting with Toscana and Piedmont (since these two often come up during dinner conversations), then continue your way down to Sicilia, where the newly rediscovered, high-quality wines are cultivated around Etna.
Do the maps come in other sizes?

We offer different sizes on the product pages. If you'd like to be the first one to hear about custom sizes and new product launches in the future, follow us on Instagram.

You can also drop us a line at emile@madeforwine.shop and requests a size that you would like to purchase and we will do our best to accommodate it.

How is my wine map packaged?

The map comes to you rolled in a recyclable cardboard tube or box.

What about customs and import taxes?

We will ship your map from one our local partner shops in the US, UK, Europe or Asia, therefore, usually no duty or import taxes should occur.

However, in the unlikely scenario where additional fees would apply, buyers are fully responsible for any customs and import taxes that might apply. These are not included in the shipping costs.
